The 9th International Conference on Arts and Humanities ICOAH 2022.
The 9th International Conference on Arts and Humanities 2022 (ICOAH 2022) was held from 15th – 16th September 2022 in virtual platform. ICOAH 2022 was organized under the theme “Technological Transformations”. The conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka.
The conference united diverse researches and case studies from all over the world, in parallel sessions while offering many networking and publishing opportunities. Moreover, the conference welcomed 85+ Academics, Researchers, Scholars, Activists Industry Leaders and Professionals from 22+ 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 across the globe.

The opening remarks of ICOAH 2022 were made by Mr. Isanka P. Gamage (Co-Founder & Managing Director – The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka) and the Conference Chair Dr. Eldad Tsabary (Associate Professor, Concordia University; Chair, Department of Music, Co-Director, Performing Arts Research Cluster (lePARC), Milieux Institute; Canada).
Along with the Conference Co-Hosting Partners Dr. Martin Lee (Music Theorist, Assistant Professor and Programme Leader School of Humanities and Languages & Department of General Education and Language Studies, Caritas Institute of Higher Education, Caritas Bianchi College of Careers, Hong Kong) and Prof. Dr. Haji. Zaini Abdullah (Assistant Vice Chancellor, College of Creative Arts, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia), the Academic Partners Dr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong (Rector, Thu Dau Mot University, Vietnam), Dr. Amita Gupta (Deputy Chief Executive, Assistant Professor (LPU), Asiatic Society for Social Science, New Delhi, India) and Dr. Mirian Tavares (Associate Professor, CIAC’S Coordinate, University of Algarve, Portugal) addressed the gathering.

ICOAH 2022 brought together over 100 participants from more than 22 countries around the world, including from: Sri Lanka, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Portugal, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Philippines, Nigeria, China, South Africa, Pakistan, United States, United Kingdom, Colombia, Australia, Bangladesh, Portugal, Turkey and Iran among the many nations represented. The Conference provided an opportunity for participants to share their valuable knowledge from various perspectives. This conference had the representation of almost every continent and region from across the world and provided a global platform to share views and ideas in the field of arts and humanities, as well as to network with international colleagues.

The workshop on “Academic Publications” was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Kelvin E.Y. Low (Head of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, National University, Singapore) with the aim of providing support to research students and researchers in getting their papers published in Scopus indexed journals in addition to the Conference Proceedings and KnowEX reputed journals.
