The Success Story of ICOAH 2014
01st International Conference on Arts and Humanities 2014
1st Annual International Conference on Arts and Humanities 2014 was successfully completed with 33 participants from more than 15 countries. Countries are namely Sri Lanka, India, United Kingdom, Malaysia, China, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey, United States of America, Philippines, Hong Kong, Iran, and Nigeria etc. The conference was organized by “The International Institute of Knowledge Management” (TIIKM) collaborative with University of Northern Colorado, USA. There were 33 oral presentations and more than 5 virtual presentations. Primary objective of this conference was to create a premier forum for the local and international researchers, scholars and academicians to share their research results in the fields of Arts and Humanities. We believed that we successfully achieved this objective during the conference. As per the schedule, conference was chaired by Prof. J. B. Disanayaka and Prof. Gary E. Swanson. Conference schedule divided in to 07 main themes namely, Linguistics and Multilingual Studies Culture, Region and Ethnic Studies – 01 Folklore and Ethno musicology Culture, Region and Ethnic Studies – 02 Film, Media and Graphic Designing Visual and Performing Arts – 01 Visual and Performing Arts – 02
